The ACP Family Code Committee met on Monday, March 23 during the ACP Conference in San Francisco.
The ACP Family Code Best Practices were completed and submitted to and approved by the ACP Board during their meeting at the conference.
As next steps, the Family Code best practices are being reviewed by the JICC; a copy has been provided to FMI to proceed with the editing and formatting of the document. Upon the JICC's approval, FMI will publish and distribute the document. The Family Code committee's requested completion date is June, 1998.
The ACP Family Code committee is in the process of increasing the trade's awareness and importance of family codes so that the manual will be requested and will be used. We are doing this through various trade publications.
