Internet Coupons: Overview and Guidelines |
The Association of Coupon Professionals (ACP) is a dynamic group of manufacturers, retailers, processors, and vendors who work together to address industry-wide issues to ensure the vitality of coupons as a valuable promotional tool.
The ACP formed the Internet Coupon Task Force (ICTF) to address the benefits, opportunities, and issues related to this emerging distribution venue. The task force included representation from manufacturers, processors, retailers, and vendors who have expertise executing Internet distributed coupons as well as overall expertise in the coupon industry.
The ICTF’s Mission:
- To develop and publish a comprehensive guide to Internet coupons, discussing trends, benefits, opportunities, and issues associated with Internet distributed coupons as they apply to consumers, retailers, processors, and manufacturers
- To provide recommendations and “best practices” in coupon design and overall program development, execution, and redemption
This is a comprehensive guide to Internet coupons that discusses trends, benefits, opportunities, and challenges as they apply to consumers, retailers, processors, and manufacturers. This guide also presents recommendations for the development of an effective Internet coupon.
